Since 2019, MassTrails has been championing a growing network of over 1,000 miles of trails and paths across Massachusetts.

MassTrails is an inter-agency initiative of the Commonwealth led by the Governor’s Office in collaboration with the Executive Office of Energy and Environmental Affairs, the Department of Transportation, and the Department of Conservation and Recreation. MassTrails 10 is a prototype in collaboration with DCR, MassDOT, the Office of Outdoor Recreation, the Office of Travel and Tourism, and HUBLUV.
